Well, I'm not really giving up, but looking over the bodywork that I was able to produce was pretty darn demoralizing.  I very carefully cut out the section of the wheelwell going thru a zillion dremel cutoff blades. Then when I began to piece it together nothing would fit properly. I was ending up with huge gaps, overlaps, and dog ears. It would take 5 gallons of Bondo body filler to make this look presentable.

My best estimate was that it was going to take me another 5-6 months at least, a load of $$$, and an end result that would be poor at best. - Have a look!
